The RSPCA Alton, Haslemere and Petersfield Branch is a local charity run by a group of volunteer trustees and its members. Our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion.
Every day, with the help of our people and our generous supporters, we take steps to achieve our mission. We provide a safe haven where abused, neglected and abandoned animals in our area can be cared for and rehabilitated before they are found a new home.
Our fundraising activities are crucial to the work we carry out. Without the money raised from our fundraising events, from legacies left to us in wills and from donations from the general public, we would be unable to continue the valuable work we do.
Help with neutering and veterinary treatment
The Branch also helps local pet owners by subsidising the cost of neutering and veterinary treatment - this is subject to meeting qualifiction critieria such as low income or other need;
A vital part of our local work is rehoming animals. Our policy is always to carry out a home visit before an animal is adopted and we carry out a subsequent post-rehoming visit too to assess how an animal is settling in. For futher information on rehoming, please contact Normal Fowler on 07713 038429.
