Christmas at Katy's

Hello. my name is Katy and I live with Mummy and step sister Poppy.  I have just spent my first Christmas in my new home!

Poppy and I both had catnip fish toys from Santa, but I seemed to have ended up with both of them in my bed,  No complaints there.  Talking of which, it was at times a tad too busy at our house with Mum and Dad's friends popping in and out over the holiday period.  On the plus side, I did more than enough samplying of the smoked salmon and prawn that was served.  I also tried mango and peaches - also surprisingly tasty!

I have also discovered the blissful world of the the wood burning stove!  Oh it’s so nice to lie in front of that in the evening, so lovely and toasty warm, I can't wait for it to be lit.

Talk to you soon.

We will be at the Grayshott Market on Saturday May 17th.

Following the April 19 launch, subsequent markets will be on the third Saturday of every month:

May 17: June 21 : July 19 : August 16 : September 20: October 18 : November 15.

The main focus for The Grayshott Market will be food to taste, eat and buy. Also planned are selected craft and charity stalls.

The Rev Moray Thomas, Chairman of the Grayshott Square Events Group, comments: “The main purpose behind The Grayshott Market is to bring people into Grayshott to see what a wonderful Village it is. We believe that a regular market will help do this. Our aim is to make the Market a special attraction by having foods of the World prepared by local specialists”.

The main sponsor of the Grayshott Market is Applegarth. Applegarth has a thriving Restaurant and farm shop selling a wide range of locally sourced and specialist fine food products. It aims to break the mould of faceless high street shopping by providing a personal and unique centre.
